The Customer Integration Engineer will work closely with the EVP of Technology and Product and the EVP of Customer Success to service as a point-person to coach customers through mobile development efforts with Pypestream’s iOS/Android SDK. The Customer Integration Engineer will ensure successful internal and external API integrations for customers. The Customer Integration Engineer will have an in-depth technology background, and experience in customer-facing roles.

What you’ll do

  • Strategize solution architecture for API integrations
  • Serve as point-person to coach customers through mobile development efforts with Pypestream’s iOS/Android SDK
  • Engineer integrations: leverage client system APIs to power chatbots, and embed Pype Manager into contact center systems i.e. agent multi channel support desk
  • Review and implement functional API tests
  • Work with customers to ensure successful internal and external API integrations and expected data exchanges
  • Provide functional API test examples to internal and external engineers
  • Write / extend API documentation

What’s required

  • BA/BS degree; graduate degree preferred
  • 4 – 8 years of experience
  • Engineering background and developer mindset
  • Strong experience implementing and integrating REST, SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, web hooks and end points into applications
  • Experience integrating SDKs into iOS and / or Android
  • SaaS and mobile platform experience, knowledge of CRM and ERP systems a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
